Group of five women practicing yoga or meditation, seated on mats in a cross-legged position with hands in prayer pose, in a dimly lit indoor studio.

About Zaamilah Balasubramaniam:

Zaamilah is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP), and Registered Yoga Therapist (RYT 500) who is compassionate and dedicated to healing in all its forms. Zaamilah integrates the wisdom of ancient yogic practices with evidence-based psychotherapy, to bring a deep understanding of how emotional stress can manifest in the body.

Zaamilah brings a trauma-informed approach to yoga that creates a space rooted in safety, presence, and compassion. Through breathwork, mindful movement, and reflective practices, she helps participants deepen self-awareness and build resilience.

Whether you're new to yoga or seeking a more embodied path to healing, her approach is accessible, intuitive, and grounded in the belief that true healing happens when we tend to both mind and body.
